Part-Time Traffic Reporter for Triangle Traffic Network

Mar 19, 2026 | 2:54 PM
Curtis Media Group’s Triangle Traffic Network is looking for a fast, energetic Traffic Reporter to keep Raleigh, Durham, and Chapel Hill moving!
  • You’ll deliver live, engaging traffic reports for multiple stations, track crashes and delays using cameras and software, to keep listeners in the know with tight, clear updates. If you’ve got a strong on-air sound, quick thinking under pressure, and know the Triangle roads (or can learn them fast), we want you.
  • This is live radio during rush hours — expect early mornings, some evenings, and holidays. Previous radio/news/traffic experience is a plus, but great delivery and hustle matter most.
  • Sample script:
    • From the traffic center…An accident on I-40 West at Aviation Parkway has a left lane blocked. Delays are back to Harrison Avenue. There’s also heavy traffic on I-40 East approaching South Miami Boulevard due to an earlier crash, now on the shoulder. Start your day right with a ride in a brand new vehicle. Come down to New Automotive and take a test drive today. I’m (insert name) with your traffic update.
Interested applicants please send resume + mp3 demo of the sample script below, to TTN’s Director of Operations Jon Champion, jchampion@curtismedia.com
